🤦🏽‍♀️Using Triamcinolone in your skincare routine‼️

That side eye is reserved for people who say…
“I’ve been putting Triamcinolone on my face EVERYDAY because IG, FB or TikTok….

No ma’am, No sir..

Triamcinolone is a prescription steroid, not a daily moisturizer or acne treatment. While it can temporarily reduce redness and inflammation, long-term use on your face can lead to:

❌ Thinning of the skin (atrophy)
❌ Broken blood vessels (telangiectasias)
❌ Steroid acne
❌ Perioral dermatitis
❌ Increased risk of infection
❌ Rebound flares when you stop using it

So how long should it be used?

Generally, facial use should be limited and supervised by a healthcare provider.
In many cases, topical steroids on the face are used for a few days up to about 1–2 weeks, depending on:
⭕️The strength of the steroid
⭕️The condition being treated
⭕️The location on the body
⭕️The patient’s skin type and history
