🌿 Elder & Oak is officially back up and running!

The apothecary is coming together in our new home, the shelves are almost stocked, and I’m officially taking orders again! It feels so good to be back creating, blending, and filling these shelves with all the things I love.

A new home, a new little apothecary, but the same heart behind every small batch. I’m so excited for everything this next chapter will bring.

🌿🍇Nature has a way of reminding us just how incredible creation is. This photo is from my last elderberry harvest, and every time I look at it, I’m amazed. Have you ever noticed what an elderberry cluster looks like after the berries have been removed?

The delicate branching pattern is strikingly similar to the tree-like structure of our lungs. While it’s simply one of nature’s many beautiful patterns, it’s a beautiful reminder of the intricate design found throughout creation.

For generations, elderberries have been treasured as a traditional herbal remedy, especially during cold and flu season. Rich in naturally occurring antioxidants and flavonoids, they’re commonly used to support immune health and overall wellness.

Looking at this photo makes me even more excited for what’s ahead. I can’t wait to get settled into our new Florida home, set up the new apothecary, and finally put these beautiful elderberries to use.

What makes my Fire Cider different? 🌿🔥

While many fire cider recipes are inspired by the traditional formula made famous by renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar, I wanted to create something that was unmistakably Elder & Oak.

I took that time honored foundation and elevated it with carefully selected herbs and botanicals, including nourishing additions like rosehips and dandelion root, to create a blend that’s both flavorful and thoughtfully crafted. Every ingredient is chosen with intention and infused for weeks, allowing the herbs, roots, and spices to fully develop before each batch is finished with local raw honey for a smooth, balanced finish.

Fire cider is one of my absolute favorite “medicine cabinet” staples. I love having it on hand as part of my family’s daily wellness routine, especially as we head into colder months.
