Crown & Canvas Beauty

A new client, a fresh start, and a retie tailored specifically to her needs.

After taking some time away from maintenance, this clients daughter found Crown & Canvas Beauty through TikTok and booked a consultation looking for someone she could trust with her mothers vision. From the consultation to her first appointment, the goal was simple: listen to what she wanted, assess what her hair needed, and create a maintenance plan that made sense for her.

Her request? A soft retie with minimal tension.

And that’s exactly what she received.

At Crown & Canvas Beauty, a clean retie should never come at the expense of your comfort or the health of your hair. Every head is different, and your service should reflect that. We give your crown exactly what it needs—and nothing it doesn’t.

Now she’s officially part of the Crown & Canvas family.

Consistency shows. ✨
From the before to the after — a clean retightening, refreshed grid, and her locs right back where they need to be.

One of my established Crown & Canvas Beauty clients showing exactly what consistent maintenance can do over time. Healthy locs, clean sections, and continued progress with every appointment.

Accepting new microlock installation clients & transfer clients. Consultation required.

Y’all wanna know how my VERY FIRST microloc install is doing? 👀

Welllll… here she is! My very first full microloc installation, still out here flourishing and minding her loc’d business. 😂

There’s something special about being able to look back at where you started and then actually watch the work mature over time. And it makes it even better that my first install just so happened to be my bestie.

Bestie by choice. Loctician by appointment. 😂
Look at my first baby growing up!

Y’all gone have to mind y’all business about how long this video has been sitting in my camera roll. 😂 This appointment was August 9th, okay?! The work was done on time…the post was not. Moving right along!

This lovely client came to me as a referral from one of my existing clients and is now one of my newest transfer clients. She came in about 5–6 weeks since her last retightening, so we got that new growth together and got her microlocs back on track.

One thing I love about welcoming transfer clients is getting the opportunity to learn a new head of locs—how they grow, how they behave between appointments, and what they need to thrive long-term.
