When I named my business ROOTED, I knew there was meaning behind the word, but honestly, I don’t think I fully understood just how much it would come to mean to me.
As I’ve poured months—and now years—into building this business, I’ve realized that sometimes being ROOTED doesn’t mean everything is growing quickly. It doesn’t mean you always see the fruit of what you planted. And it certainly doesn’t mean the journey is easy.
Sometimes being ROOTED simply means you keep showing up.
You keep watering what you planted.
You keep believing when you can’t see the growth yet.
You keep tending to the roots when no one else can see what’s happening underneath the surface.
There have been seasons where I questioned the business, questioned myself, and wondered if what I was building would ever become what I envisioned.
But maybe ROOTED was never about how big the business would become.
Maybe it was about learning to stay planted.
To keep showing up.
To keep serving.
To keep growing.
To trust the process.
To trust God with what I planted.
Because roots grow in places we can’t always see.
And sometimes the greatest growth is happening long before there is anything to show for it.
So today, I’m reminding myself:
