Lunar Eclipse over

Ok its my time to shine and do what I do best...CHEER Y'ALL UP! It has been a rough week with losing Dolly, Tim and Peter three legends and all a huge impacts on all our lives. So this Saturday is the Magic the Gathering Meet Up from 5 to 9 pm in La Palmera Gamestop and I will be there for free hugs and pics for all that have been effected by these tremendous passings. I would like to remind everyone that we are not alone and I the Corpus Christi Joker will always do what I can to cheer u up and make u laugh as I have done the last 25+ years. So make plans and come hang with me, together we can get through anything!!! Much luv and see yall soon!

The year was 1984. I was five years old taking swimming lessons at the YMCA on Corona in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our final was to jump off of the high diving board which is about 30 feet up in the air. I couldn’t do it. I went over to my mom who was sitting in the bleachers waiting for me, she whispered to me if you do it, I’ll buy you the Optimus Prime action figure that we just saw at Krogers. No sooner than she said it, I climbed up that ladder and nose dive off of the diving board. There is nothing that I wouldn’t do for an action figure but most especially Optimus Prime. I loved Peter. I was very fortunate to meet him behind the scenes one on one at a convention we had a great conversation. I got to tell him this story. He told me that my mother must’ve loved me very much and I said yeah she does but she knew I loved Optimus Prime and would do anything for him including risking my life! I still have this toy. It’s one of my most prized possessions in my personal collection. Thank you Peter for a great childhood. I love you very much and I hope you rest in peace. Autobots rollout. Transformers

The year was 1990, I was 11 years old, i already had grown very fond of the Joker from 1989 Batman as well as the Adam West Batman television series played by Ceaser Romero. Then the television series IT came out and i watched as Tim Curry knocked it out of the park as Pennywise! I had never seen anything like that and will never again. He has always held a special place in my Joker/Clown heart and I can only hope he passed in Peace and knowing how much he was loved and how big of an influence he had on our generation from Legend to Rocky Horror Picture Show to Clue and of course IT, just an epic catalog of amazing films. Even the Phantom and Congo... are guilty pleasures. Just wanted to share this, hope everyone is ok and much luv for reading. ~CorpusChristiJoker
