Here’s a little experiment I did not sign up for, but here we are so decided to share. Fun fact,did you know babies can change their suckle to be pacifying vs extracting milk? Now you do.
Overnight the twins have their own dedicated side to nurse from. Tommy was nursing pretty much all night. Would not be down for long before waking to nurse again. Charlie nursed only once overnight, then once in the morning before getting up. This was this mornings pump results. Now you’d think the full side was Charlie since he ate only 2 times vs Tommy who ate like 20 times. WRONG. Tommy was just latching for comfort (which is a lil annoying but whatever). It’s cool I have a literal side by side comparison though! It’s also so interesting to see just how different babies are and having, again, a side by side comparison. Some babies crave that comfort more to sleep than others and that’s ok! You’re not doing anything wrong, and your baby isn’t being difficult, you’re just their safest space🩵🩵
