I’ve been thinking about how we prepare and empower our kids to take greater responsibility for their own wellness as they get older, especially athletes, busy teenagers, and college students living away from home.

I’m developing some practical, hands-on workshops to help moms and kids create simple routines they will actually understand and use. A few ideas I’m exploring are:

• A Game Day Ready workshop for athletes and sports families
• A wellness independence workshop for teens and their moms
• A build-your-own college wellness kit workshop for students preparing to leave home
