Introducing Second Chance Financial Foundations
Because recovery isn’t just about staying sober, it’s about building a stable future.
At MVP Recovery, we’re proud to launch the newest innovation in our sober living program: Second Chance Financial Foundations, a financial literacy program designed to give our residents the tools they need to achieve lasting independence.
Led by a certified financial educator, residents receive practical, real-world instruction on:
💳 Repairing and building credit
💵 Budgeting and managing money
🏦 Banking and financial responsibility
📈 Planning for long-term financial stability
🏠 Preparing for independent living
As the largest DDAP-licensed recovery home provider in Pennsylvania, this new initiative is another example of how MVP Recovery leads the way in structured & supportive sober living.
Our sober living model is built around the four dimensions of recovery identified by SAMHSA:
❤️ Health
🏡 Home
🎯 Purpose
🤝 Community
Those principles have inspired innovative wraparound programming that extends far beyond housing, including our:
✔️ Second Chance Employment Program
✔️ Second Chance Parenting Program
🆕 Second Chance Financial Foundations
Recovery is about more than overcoming substance use, it’s about creating a life of stability, opportunity, and purpose. By equipping residents with career skills, parenting support, and now financial literacy, we’re helping them build the foundation for long-term success.
This is the MVP Recovery difference.
Not just a place to live.
A place to heal.
A place to grow.
A place to build a future.

MVP Recovery is proud to partner with the Lansdowne Police Department as they continue their commitment to helping individuals access treatment and recovery support through the Delaware County District Attorney's Office Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative (LETI) Program.
A special thank you to our MVP SHIELD Coordinator, Corporal Leo Francis Doyle of the Ridley Township Police Department, for leading an engaging training focused on officer wellness and the LETI model. Leo’s leadership and expertise continue to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the recovery community.
The Delaware County LETI Program has become one of Pennsylvania’s most successful law enforcement diversion initiatives, helping connect individuals to treatment and support services instead of incarceration. This success is only possible because of dedicated law enforcement partners like the Lansdowne Borough Police Department, who recognize that recovery and public safety go hand in hand.
Together, we are removing barriers, increasing access to treatment, and building stronger, healthier communities throughout Delaware County.

🏃♀️💧 MVP Recovery Proudly Supports the Media 5-Miler! 💧🏃♂️
The MVP Recovery team was honored to support the annual Media 5-Miler by hosting a water station at our Media Behavioral Health Center, helping keep runners hydrated and encouraged throughout the event.
A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated team members who spent their evening representing MVP Recovery and supporting the community. Their willingness to show up, volunteer, and engage with participants reflects the passion and commitment that drives our organization every day. We are incredibly proud of our staff for going above and beyond to make a positive impact both inside and outside of our programs.
We also want to give a special shout-out to Laur Rose Marino, our Program Director, who not only helped represent MVP Recovery but also took on the challenge of running the Media 5-Miler herself! Lauren’s commitment to health, wellness, leadership, and community engagement is an inspiration and embodies the spirit of MVP Recovery.
Events like the Media 5-Miler remind us that strong communities are built through connection, support, and people coming together for a common purpose. MVP Recovery is proud to be actively involved in the communities we serve and remains committed to being the premier behavioral health and recovery support provider in the Philadelphia region.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, runners, and everyone who stopped by our water station. We look forward to continuing to support events that promote wellness, connection, and community pride.
