This backdrop was created to celebrate a high school graduate in a classic and elegant way. I used traditional draping in shades of blue, white, and gold, then complemented the design with a balloon arrangement featuring coordinating shades of blue and white for a polished finish.

Today’s Draping Tip: If you’re creating a backdrop for an outdoor event, consider positioning it in front of a garage, wall, or another solid structure. This helps reduce the amount of wind passing through the backdrop, making it more stable and easier to maintain throughout the event.

For this design, I incorporated the traditional Juneteenth colors to create a bold and festive focal point that captured the spirit of the celebration. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to make a statement and provide the perfect backdrop for photos and memories.

🎓✨ This time, I traded in my usual draping for balloons and put on my balloon stylist hat!

For this graduation celebration, I designed an orange, black, and gold theme featuring a custom welcome sign with a balloon base, a circular balloon backdrop, centerpieces, a styled memory table, and a coordinated dessert table. Golden stars were added throughout to tie every detail together and create a memorable celebration. ⭐

In this video, I’m sharing tips for attaching different types of tie backs while keeping the hardware hidden for a clean, polished, and professional finish. Whether you’re using fabric, sequin, floral, or decorative tie backs, the goal is to enhance the design without distracting from it.

In this video, I’m taking you behind the scenes of a school dance makeover. Watch as I transform a cafeteria/auditorium space into a sparkling celebration filled with glitter, shine, and school spirit.

Using the school’s colors as inspiration, I incorporated elegant draping, arches, and balloon décor to completely elevate the space. Since the event had a dance theme, disco balls were the perfect finishing touch to bring the fun and energy to life.

✨ Draping Tip Tuesday ✨

One of the easiest ways to elevate the look of your draping is to properly conceal your valance hangers. Don’t rely solely on a pole cover to hide your hardware—the draping panels themselves can help create a much cleaner finish.

When adding multiple draping sections, be intentional about how your panels overlap and wrap around the hardware. This helps eliminate visible gaps and keeps valance hangers from peeking through the design.

It’s a small detail, but details make a big difference. A seamless draping installation looks more professional, polished, and luxurious.
