I left inspired by the people who continue to educate, cultivate, advocate, and create space for our community.

Let’s have a conversation about Perimenopause + Locs

Entering your 40s can bring changes to your hair and scalp that you may not have experienced before.

You may notice:

• More dryness — hair or scalp feels drier than usual

• More shedding — noticing more hair during shampooing or styling

• Thinner areas — especially around the edges or in your crown

• More breakage — strands may feel finer or more fragile

• Texture changes — your hair may feel or behave differently

• Scalp changes — increased dryness, itching, flaking or sensitivity
