πŸ“£ Tell the Durham City Council NO to expanding surveillance in our city, NO to wasting taxpayer dollars!

πŸ“ The next council meeting is this Monday, June 1st - 7pm at 101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC. We need community members showing up to let the council know that continuing to pour millions into surveillance is unacceptable. Please give public comment. You can signup in advance at tinyurl.com/durham-public-comment or arrive at 6:30pm to sign-up in-person. If you cannot speak please email your comments beforehand.

πŸ’΅ Budgets are moral documents, continuing to invest more into policing instead of the people that make this city function is a shame. Our money should be prioritizing paying workers a livable wage, invest more into housing & other gaps our people desperately need support navigating.

❌ NO to more policing & βœ… YES to our people!
