This sweet new client came to me as a referral from one of my amazing longtime clients and we had a pretty big goal for her first appointment: start transitioning out of years of box color, add soft dimension, and create a blend that allows her natural gray to grow in seamlessly.

Instead of chasing that root every 3–4 weeks, we’re working toward a softer, lived-in grow out that can stretch her maintenance closer to every 8 weeks.

Gray blending is definitely a process, especially when we’re working through years of previous color, but this first session gave us such a beautiful start. ✨

Softer regrowth, more dimension and more time between appointments is exactly where we wanted to be.
