This week marked the final session of our Veteran Equine-Assisted Learning group. We are deeply grateful to each veteran who trusted us with part of their healing journey, to our dedicated volunteers who faithfully served, and to our incredible horses who continue to teach, comfort, and inspire.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors. Your faithful support makes this life-changing work possible. Because of your generosity, our veterans have a place to find hope, connection, healing, and renewed purpose.

Research continues to show that equine-assisted services can help many veterans build resilience, strengthen relationships, improve emotional well-being, and reduce symptoms associated with PTSD.

Thank you to our veterans for your service, our volunteers for your faithful hearts, and our donors for believing in this mission. Together, you make healing possible.

The Impact of Equine-Assisted Counseling & Learning at Willow Ranch

At Willow Ranch, we have the privilege of witnessing meaningful growth and transformation through the unique partnership between people and horses.

Equine-Assisted Counseling and Equine-Assisted Learning can help individuals and families:

This morning I was reminded why we do what we do at Willow Ranch. Below is a text I received from a volunteer that comes each week.

“Heritage at Sunrise

As the sun is rising in the horizon and the gentle breeze is blowing through the field. I see Heritage in a distance.

In this moment I see heaven present itself with a peace from above and gentleness all around.

Approaching Heritage with tools in hand, I am met with a love like no other, that only comes from the Father.

Present in the moment, I see the truth deep within and realize I am seen, I am loved and there is no other love to compare.

And what is Heritage but this - not something owned or held to tight, but gifts received with open hands and carried forward in Your light.

The field became a sanctuary, the wind became a hymn and for one small moment in time, I remembered I belong to Him.
