Man, kids can drive you CRAZY. 😂

Sometimes I’m exhausted, stretched thin and honestly thinking, “Where is the gratitude? Do they have ANY idea how much we do for them?”

The money. The driving. The practices. The late nights. The sacrifices. All the little things they never even see.

And sometimes I wonder if I’m failing because they just expect us to show up.

But my perspective has shifted a little.

Yes, we’re still working on gratitude and appreciation. Those things matter. But they don’t have to worry about whether they’ll have what they need or whether Mom and Dad will be there.

Because we always have been.

They don’t see the late night conversations about money. They don’t see us figuring things out, rearranging schedules or wondering how we’re going to make it all work.

They just see a mom and dad who are there.

No matter what. ❤️

I never really thought much about where I bought the everyday stuff in our house. I just went to the store, grabbed what we always used, or what was on sale and moved on.

But lately I’ve started shopping a little differently. I’m more intentional about what we bring into our home, what we’re spending, and why am I running to five different stores for things we use every single day?

Laundry still needs washed, dishes still need done, and with three boys, we’re always running out of something. 😂

I haven’t changed what we need, I’ve just changed how I shop for it. And I’m able to enjoy the beach days and slow mornings at home even more!

6.3 million bottles of cleaner recalled made by Clorox.

Not a single recall in 41 years from the wellness company.

That’s just one of the many reasons I choose the wellness company!

Right now $1 gains you access!

Maybe you’re not failing.

Maybe motherhood just doesn’t look the way you thought it would.

Maybe your plans changed. Your timeline changed. Your priorities changed. Maybe the path you’re on right now looks nothing like the one you imagined when you first became a mom.

There are seasons where you feel like everyone else is moving forward while you’re just trying to keep your head above water.

But your path doesn’t have to look like someone’s.
You’re allowed to be proud of the life you’re building even if it looks different than you thought it would.

Maybe you’re not behind.
It’s just a different path.

I’m filled with so many emotions..
The kids start school Monday, and I’m starting a new job in our school kitchen.

I’ve been hesitant to share much about it because I’ve been trying to process it myself but being a verbal processor here we go together.

I’m excited.
I’m excited for consistency.
I’m excited for the people I’ll work with.
I’m excited to be part of the school my kids attend.
I’m excited for the community that comes with being a part of our little hometown in a different way.

But if I’m being really honest… there’s also a part of me that has felt like maybe I’m failing.

Like I’m giving up some of the time freedom I worked so hard to create.
Like I’m going backwards.
Maybe I failed.
And then I’m reminded…

This isn’t failure.

This is an opportunity to pour into my community in a way I haven’t been able to before.
To know the people I see at football games.
To build relationships with the families I see at fundraisers and sporting events.
To be more connected to the place we call home.

And I’m still here.

I’m still using, loving and sharing The Wellness Company because I genuinely believe in it. What I’ve built continues to grow and bless our family.

This new job doesn’t erase that.
Maybe this season just looks different than I thought it would.
And maybe that’s okay.

Sometimes God leads us into things that don’t make sense from the outside. Things that might even look like a step backwards.

But what if it isn’t?
What if it’s clarity?

What if it’s an opportunity to be exactly where I’m needed right now?

So I’m walking into this new season with a lot of emotions… but more than anything, I’m excited.

Excited to see what comes from it.
Excited to see who I meet.
Excited to see who I get to pour into.
And excited to watch how the Lord works through all of it.
I don’t have to understand the whole picture yet.
I just have to be faithful with the part He’s given me right now.
