Great Falls Badminton Club

Happy first day of autumn🍂! A new badminton season is now here! 🏸
Before we jump into another season of matches, rallies, laughs, and competition, we want to take a moment to recognize two people who do so much behind the scenes for the Great Falls Badminton Club: Richard Lai and Vim Alarcon Herrera.

They really are part of the backbone of this club. From organizing events, designing and making T-shirts, preparing trophies and medals, arranging insurance for our practice venue, and handling so many other details that most of us never even see, they put in a tremendous amount of time and effort so the rest of us can simply show up, play, compete, and enjoy the sport we love.
A strong club doesn’t happen by accident. It takes people who are willing to give their time, energy, and care to keep everything running smoothly, and Richard and Vim have done exactly that.
So as we start this new season, let’s play hard, have fun, support one another, and remember to appreciate the people who make it all possible.

Thank you, Richard and Vim, for everything you do for the Great Falls Badminton Club! 👏🏸🏆
Here’s to another great season! 💪🎉

Can’t believe it’s already been a month since our Great Falls Badminton Club crew made the trip to Bozeman for the Big Sky State Games! 🏸🏅💙

We came home with plenty of medals and some awesome results, but what made us proudest was everything behind those medals — the hard work, consistency, teamwork, and great sportsmanship shown by everyone.

There were competitive matches, exciting rallies, lots of cheering for one another, and plenty of smiles along the way. Whether we were on the court giving it our best or on the sidelines supporting our teammates, it really felt like a team effort.

We’re so proud of everyone who competed and represented Great Falls Badminton Club. The medals are a wonderful bonus, but getting to play the sport we love, support each other, spend time together, and make some great memories is what made the weekend special. ❤️

Congratulations, team! You all did amazing! 🏸🏅💪🏼

Before we kick off our Big Sky State Games Badminton Tournament this weekend, we’d like to take a moment to recognize some very special members of our Great Falls Badminton Club family. ❤️🏸
Although this farewell is a little overdue from the end of last season, we couldn’t let this moment pass without saying thank you.
To our members who have moved away and started new adventures—thank you for everything you’ve brought to our club. From weekly games and tournaments to potlucks, celebrations, and countless laughs, you’ve helped build the welcoming community that makes Great Falls Badminton Club so special.
Your friendship, encouragement, and love for the game have left a lasting impact, and you’ll always be part of our badminton family.
As we head into this year’s State Tournament, we’ll be carrying the memories and friendships we made together. We wish you nothing but happiness, success, and plenty of badminton wherever life takes you.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We’ll miss you on the court, but you’ll always have a place in the Great Falls Badminton Club family.
Good luck in your next chapter—and don’t forget to come back and visit us for a game! 💙🏸

Oh hello June! Can’t believe the 2025-2026 badminton season is coming to an end soon 🥹

Last night’s Great Falls Badminton Club tournament was more than just competition — it was community, friendship, laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable rallies on the court. 🏸❤️

From intense matches and powerful smashes to cheering each other on between games, every moment reminded us why we love this club so much.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to play, support, organize, scorekeep, and bring such amazing energy throughout the night. Whether it was your first tournament or your hundredth match, you helped make this event special.

Badminton brings us together from different backgrounds, different skill levels, and different stories — but on the court, we become one team and one family.

A very special thank you to Bessy Czanelle Leong for capturing so many incredible moments throughout the tournament and helping preserve these memories for all of us. 📸 Your photos truly brought the spirit and energy of the night to life!

Thank you all for making the Great Falls Badminton Club such a fun, welcoming, and passionate community. We can’t wait for the next tournament already! 🔥🏸
