In 2008, Finnish inventor Jarno Saarinen was on vacation in Spain with his daughter. While sitting in chairs, they started kicking a small plastic ball back and forth under their legs.

It was so much fun that when he returned home, he built the very first transparent prototype.

Ten years later, that simple family game became Subsoccer—a worldwide sensation played in homes, schools, bars, and competitions across the globe.
