October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this month holds a very personal meaning for my family. I lost my sister to breast cancer in October 2020, and I carry her memory with me every day. I’m also grateful that my other sister is in remission. Our family knows the heartbreak, the fear, the strength, and the hope that come with this fight.
