My first cover up!

This client had two previous tattoos from another artist. Her first tattoo faded to blue and her second faded to red. Color correction was made while adding new hair strokes.

Clients who come to me from another artist must be fully aware that I may not be able to create the exact shape that they want or be able to completely cover up their previous tattoo. Cover ups also 100% require at least one touch up visit to bring the color closer to neutral. But the outcome will still be beautiful!

She said "more hair strokes!" So I gave her more hair strokes in her "bald" areas during this touch up. 😁

She also wanted to go a tad bit thicker this time around. Initially, I will always start a little thinner and stick to your natural shapes and thickness as much as possible. As a touch up, we can add more thickness, lengthen the tail, etc. I cannot erase, but I can always add more later!

Microblading will help to achieve that super natural look you're going for. Adding shading into the sparser areas of her brows after drawing the hair strokes will help to achieve an even fuller look!

Still trying to figure out the proper angles/lighting to take great photos.

This photo was taken on the first day of healing after the procedure. It is a completely normal part of the healing process for the color to get anywhere from 20% - 60% darker during the first few days post procedure. So don't fret! Your brows will still heal natural and beautiful. ❤️

Mature skin can be tricky, so I took extra time and care to getting the shape just right. It was a fun challenge and I love the result. And I'm glad she knows that I'm learning and growing! ❤️
