Body Positivity You can do it, and we’re all here for you. Beauty is at once everything and nothing; it’s what you make it. Fill this with body positivity!

Beauty is an empty canvas for YOU to fill for yourself as you see fit - not based on other people’s ideas, not based on what you *think* is “right,” but rather based solely on who you want to be. There are no ideals, only forms of expression. Submissions can be sent as messages/posts directly to the group. Anonymous submissions can be directed here: http://goo.gl/forms/Oyoc34F60Z

Hey, hey - long time no post! After a long hiatus, JumBodies is back: new and improved! Over the past couple years, we realized that focusing on the body, while important, operated within the very systems we want to subvert and eventually reform. So we’re expanding into the trifecta of body, mind, and soul for a more holistic approach to well-being. We also realize that overemphasizing the body can be triggering and exhausting. We hope that our expanded vision and decentralizing western approaches while honoring individual journeys makes JumBodies more accessible, inclusive, and unique in offering a diverse range of physical, mental, and spiritual experiences of empowerment.

Much Love,
JumBodies

This is really important:

Sometimes, it's not about toys and action figures. Sometimes it's about the media. Sometimes it's about the constant barrage of messages and images we are bombarded with every day. Sometimes it's not about the (lower part of) the body at all. Sometimes it's about the face, the toes, or anything in between. Sometimes it's what we hear from those around us; sometimes it's about how they act (towards us). Sometimes it's the unwritten messages that are the most painful. Sometimes it comes from our minds.
Whatever the sources of self-loathing or body-hating thoughts are, they can affect absolutely anyone and sure as hell are some of the most painful ever found.

Someone asked about his body issues, and it made me wonder why he has them. What are we telling people?

Now, that’s a body trend I can get behind.”
