She packed her bags, crossed hemispheres, and showed up to race in Punta del Este, Uruguay — still shaking off an illness, jet-lagged, and ready to GO. That's the heart of a true athlete. 💪

Salty water? Checked. ✅ Wetsuit chafing? Handled. ✅ Relentless coastal winds on the bike AND run? She smiled and kept moving. ✅ Half marathon entirely along the ocean? Absolutely stunning. 🌊

One of only 212 women in a field of nearly 1,200 racers, she raced smart, soaked in every beautiful mile, and crossed that finish line to a special announcer shout-out as a proud member of the Cupcake Cartel 🧁🎉

This is what it looks like to travel far, race hard, and represent the USA 🇺🇸 with pure joy and grit.

Meet my incredible athlete, Jann Weiss — 70 years young, from AZ — and she just walked a Quarter Marathon at the TMC Arizona Distance Classic just 9 weeks post hip replacement. 🦴➡️🏃‍♀️

Not only did she show up and finish, but she crossed that line 13 minutes FASTER than last year — when she was still recovering from hip pins. Let that sink in. 💪

What made it even more special? She spent every step of that 6.55 miles chatting with fellow runners, cheering others on, and thanking every single volunteer along the way. That's not just a runner — that's a champion of the sport.

Jann, coaching you is one of the greatest privileges of my career. You embody everything I try to teach — resilience, grit, gratitude, and joy. 🙌
