Just a quick update — I'm currently located in vibrant Houston, TX!

This is what I wrote for everyone.

“Own Your Journey” –Robert S

Don’t be afraid
of the hard work,
the failures,
the truth that everything you feel—
is temporary.

If you’ve faced your childhood
and come out on the other side,
scarred but standing—
I see you.
If you haven’t,
and every relationship falls apart like clockwork,
maybe it’s time to look inward,
not outward.

Pause.
Breathe.

Give yourself permission
to touch what hurts.
The dark,
the hidden,
the shamed,
the sealed-tight places
you swore no one would ever see.

Let it rise.
Let it burn.
Let it wash over you—
and know:
it will pass.

You were not responsible
for your childhood.
You were a child.
You survived what was never your fault.
Forgive that child.
Forgive your parents.
They did what they could.
It wasn’t enough—
but it’s done.

Now you’re grown.
And everything you think,
everything you say,
everything you do—
is yours to carry.

You don’t get to drag your pain
into every room you enter,
into every heart that loves you,
and leave a mess behind.

They didn’t ask for that.
They chose this road with you.
So act like it.

You’re not here to be perfect.
You’re here to be real.
To love.
To forgive.
To understand that no one makes it out clean—
but we can make it out together.

Stop pretending you’re better.
You’re not owed more because you “made it.”
If you made it,
then you owe.
You owe the world the same keys
you were handed
or carved out with bloody hands.
You owe the next one up.

This life—
is not a zero-sum game.

There’s enough for all of us.
Enough love.
Enough power.
Enough freedom.
But only if we’re willing
to do the work,
own the hurt,
and build forward.
