I was the fourth of four kids, which means there are approximately two photos of me under the age of 10 in existence. 😂 Apparently, by the last child, nobody thinks to grab the camera. I’m pretty sure my mom figured, They’re all blonde, the baby pictures are basically interchangeable.

Anyway, this is one of the two.

Soooo does anyone else remember when photographers would go door to door with an actual pony and offer to take your picture?! Because apparently that was perfectly normal back in the late 1960’s.

I’m two years old here, sitting on the pony and looking like I’d been playing outside all day. I’m shoeless, slightly feral and definitely in need of a bath.

My sister Debby was 12. She’s also shoeless, wearing what may be the worst outfit ever assembled and please don’t get me started on that red cowboy hat hanging on for dear life probably three sizes too small for her head. 🤠

This may not be the greatest photo ever taken, but it always makes me smile.

My mom wasn’t much of a picture-taker, and she definitely didn’t have extra money to spend on something like this…..but that day, she did it anyway. And now that my sister, whom I absolutely adored, is no longer here, this funny little pony picture means more to me than she ever could have imagined. ❤️

Please tell me somebody else has one of these pony photos. I need to see them!

Living my best life today—starting with rooftop photos at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and a view that definitely understood the assignment. 🤍✨

We attended the beautiful Soirée en Blanc event, sponsored by Modern Day Wife, for an afternoon filled with sunshine, fabulous white outfits, new creator and brand connections, and just enough whimsy to make the whole day feel a little magical. 🤍

One of the things that brings me the most joy is gardening. 🌿

There’s just something about planting a tiny little seed, giving it some water and attention, and watching it grow and flourish. Kind of like raising a kid except that plants don’t ask for gas money, new shoes, or $20 for “food.” 😂

We’re still finishing our backyard, but in my head I’m already planning my little vegetable garden. I’m picturing fresh tomatoes, herbs, maybe some zucchini…because apparently planting zucchini is legally required for all burgeoning gardeners! 😁

Honestly, just being outside makes me happy. Sunshine, fresh air, flowers, the smell of fresh dirt and pretending I know exactly what I’m doing. 🌱

What hobbies brings you joy and make you smile?

I’ve always had a very thin upper lip, and it bothered me for years. So a few years ago, I decided to start getting a small amount of lip filler.

I know, I know - cosmetic procedures—and fillers in particular—aren’t for everyone. And that’s okay. I didn’t do it because someone told me I needed it, or because I was trying to look like anyone else. I did it because it was something I wanted, and it made me feel more confident.

My advice to anyone considering filler: Do your research. Find a licensed, experienced professional. Read reviews. Look at their work. Ask questions. Get recommendations from people you trust and please don’t choose someone simply because they’re offering a bargain. Your face is not the place for a Groupon experiment. 😂

Honestly , you don’t have to change a single thing about yourself to be beautiful. But you’re also allowed to do something for yourself simply because it makes you feel good.

Your face. Your body. Your decision.

Do what makes you feel like you…..only a little more fabulous. 💕
