One year ago, I took one of the biggest and scariest leaps of faith of my life and opened Pink Sugar Curl Studio.

I remember the fear, the uncertainty, and all the questions that came with stepping out on my own. But one year later, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

This has been the most successful season of my life, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Not just because of the growth of my business, but because I genuinely love what I do every single day. Hair is more than a career to me—it’s my ministry, my purpose, and my passion.

To my clients, thank you. You are not just clients; you’re my girls. Thank you for trusting me with your crowns, your confidence, your stories, and your journeys. Watching your hair thrive and helping you embrace the beauty of your natural texture has been one of the greatest honors of my career.

This year also marks 7 years of being a licensed cosmetologist. In Scripture, the number 7 represents completion, perfection, and God’s divine work. Looking back, I can see how every lesson, every challenge, every sacrifice, and every step of faith was preparing me for this moment.

Pink Sugar Curl Studio is proof that Ahayah’s timing is perfect.

What started as a dream has become a reality, and I know this is only the beginning. Thank you to everyone who has supported, referred, prayed for, booked with, encouraged, and believed in me.
