Things are still very much in motion.

We’re actively testing products, and to be transparent, I wasn’t satisfied with the most recent round. That matters to me. Maniac will never be rushed or released just to meet a deadline, it has to feel right.

Right now, our official launch is projected for early 2028, but before that, we plan to release pre-launch products at a minimal cost, zero profit, purely in exchange for genuine feedback. This brand is being built with people, not just sold to them.

Maniac was never just an idea, it was born from real struggles with mental health.

Over the years, I lost multiple therapists due to insurance changes, coverage issues, or policies suddenly shifting. I got exhausted telling my story over and over again, trying to trust strangers with my healing. So instead, I spent the last six years studying self-help, mental wellness, and the resources that actually make a difference.

At some point, I realized I was ready to tell my story one last time, through this brand.

During a school project, I had the opportunity to interview the CEO of Viori, and something she said stayed with me. She told me:

“Your passion is exactly why we started our company. You would be too naïve not to pursue this. We wanted to give a voice to a demographic that didn’t have one — and you’re doing the same.”

That moment solidified everything.

Through the resources I found, I was able to heal and I believe those tools should be accessible to everyone, for free. That’s part of what Maniac exists to do.

Maniac isn’t just a cosmetics brand.
It’s a healing journey.

Yes, we plan to create skincare and makeup that help you look as good as you feel but more than that, we want to support people on the days when even getting ready feels hard. Maniac will be there for you in those moments.

A portion of all future profits will be donated to charities that provide real mental health resources to those in need. And I’m committed to creating high-quality, affordable skincare, even though that’s one of the hardest things to do right.
