Jupiteridian. (joo-pi-ter-id-e-uhn) In 1992 on a crazy 60 hour trip to NYC with a bunch of Hairdresser friends, we attended an Off- Broadway musical.
"Return to the Forbidden Planet". One of the actors was handing out Dramamine (tic-tacs) to the audience, he approached our group and asked "What planet did you fly in from?".. "JUPITER" we said, "JUPITER FLORIDA"
"Ahhhh, I see" he said...

Old Days Alternate A1A through Jupiter! Top pic headed north, Center St on left. 2nd pic also north bound, Jupiter Marina on right (now Sawfish Bay). 3rd pic JTAA x-mas parade northbound over bridge(late 60’s) 4th pic Tequesta side headed to US1!

Dubois Picnic Park! Sometime in the 1930’s and beyond. The dog looks like it’s been fishing! The DuBois collected $$ until the park was sold in 1971! $1 per car, and when the park was full(as seen in photos) they closed the gates! Rumor has it that friends and “special” people entered, no charge!
