Hair Loss Assessments

The Scalp Society will be offering a complete work up with our standard assessments. How this looks for clients:
When you book a Hair loss assessment, you will immediately be sent an intake form. This will allow me to understand your situation.
When you arrive you will undergo a 30 second cheek swab to collect information about your genetics. This gives us information on not only what you are predispositioned to, but also what treatments you will be most likely to respond to.
We will look at your scalp and follicles under magnification to identify patterns and give data to your situation.
In addition I will collect a small sample of hair. After you depart, I will analyze your sample in my lab. This will give me data on your current situation- hair loss index %, genetic impact, and what has impacted your hair- nutrition, stress, miniaturization, ect.
Your genetic workup take about 2-3 weeks to receive, which allows me to create a personalized protocol that is incredibly specific and catered to you. We will meet again when your results are in and I will sit down with you to explain your results and the most ideal path for you.

This service will always be booked as such, however I am offering an introductory special for the hair sample collection work up (not including the DNA testing), which you can find under 'Summer Assessment.'

Scalp Assessments

We have now created a seperate option for scalp needs. The Scalp Society has partnered with Italy's CRLabs to give a complete assessment to determine your scalps needs.

When you book you will receive an intake form to help us understand your needs before you even come in.
One you are in and we discuss you scalp, You will have a full work up done to find the exact environment of your scalps microbiome. This includes determining your pH level, hydration level, and sebum level. We will also look at your scalp under magnification to determine sebum or flake status in relation to your follicles.

She came back in worried. More shedding than usual and absolutely nothing had changed.

We went through everything. Diet, stress, medications, routine. Nothing stood out. Nothing was different.

Then it hit me.
There was one thing.

I had sent her home with a topical that works by stimulating healthy activity and encouraging the follicle to get back to work.
