Last September: In the middle of TTC, suffering from ongoing pain from ovarian cysts. Right around this time is when my doctor recommended exploratory surgery to see what was going on. We couldn’t get peace about the surgery, God was telling me not to have the procedure… That was hard to hear, but we leaned on, “If God said it, he would work all things for his good.”

This September: 27 weeks pregnant with our baby girl. Now I understand why my version of “perfect timing” wasn’t actually the best timing. I understand more of God’s character, why he did things the way he did: to get me closer to him and set things up in a way I could’ve never imagined. He had to refine me. Now I live in the miracle, with the most gratitude I’ve ever had, waiting for our precious girl to fully come into this world.

The waiting season is worth it. Lean on God and let him make the miracle🤍

Glucose test day!! My reaction, feelings, and advice down below! SAVE if you’re pregnant🫶🏻

• Book the earliest appointment available!
• My doc told me I could eat one egg before, and I think that definitely helped not having the drink on an empty stomach
• Get the lemon lime. Tastes like a flat, sweeter sprite🍋‍🟩
• Have a water bottle & a snack for after they draw your blood. Your stomach might feel a little uneasy, but protein helps!
• Don’t plan anything for the few hours after and go take a nap if you can. You feel like you have a major sugar crash after!
• If you’re easily nauseated, put a drop of peppermint oil on your wrist and breathe it in when needed. Always helps me!
