Cabinetry is the largest visual element in your kitchen, so selecting the right style, color, and finish is essential.

3️⃣ Countertops
Once cabinets are chosen, we select a countertop that complements both the cabinetry and flooring while adding beautiful movement and texture.

4️⃣ Backsplash
Think of the backsplash as the jewelry of the kitchen. It should enhance the countertops—not compete with them.

5️⃣ Plumbing Fixtures
Your faucet and sink finish should coordinate seamlessly with the overall design style, whether that's polished, modern, or timeless.

6️⃣ Lighting & Cabinet Hardware
These finishing touches elevate the entire space. Beautiful lighting and thoughtfully selected hardware add personality and sophistication.

7️⃣ Paint
Paint comes last—and for good reason! It's the easiest element to customize once all of the permanent materials have been selected.

This master suite, designed for a home in Hawaii, embraces the beauty of island living through a calming palette, natural textures, and timeless craftsmanship. Rich wood architectural details frame the space, while woven grass shades, soft linen upholstery, and layered textiles bring warmth and an organic elegance. Gentle shades of sea glass and sage echo the colors of the surrounding landscape, creating a seamless connection between indoors and nature.

Every element was intentionally selected to inspire rest—from the custom upholstered bed to the sculptural ceramic lamps and understated furnishings. The result is a retreat that feels sophisticated, serene, and effortlessly inviting.

Here are my favorite safety tips:

Create a quiet, cozy retreat indoors before the fireworks begin.
Turn on calming music or the TV to help soften loud noises.
Keep favorite blankets, toys, and fresh water nearby.
Double-check collars and ID tags in case a frightened pet tries to run.
Most importantly, stay close. Your calm presence is often the greatest comfort.
