When we decided to start a new project, we knew we wanted to create a business with purpose, one that gives back to the earth and people, and raises awareness to causes that are important to us. We sell natural plant based skin care products made from sustainably sourced ingredients from the Amazon Rainforest that help preserve the forest and its local indigenous peoples. Due to the current climate crisis, deforestation and pressure from predatory economic activities, protected areas in the Amazon and the future of our planet are in immense danger. By promoting alternative economic growth for the families living in protected areas, we can show the world that the best preservation strategy is designing new ways of making a living in the Forest that are sustainable and where the biggest interest is preserving the Rainforest.

Every once in a while, something makes you stop and look back at how far you’ve come...
AmaSKN started as a small idea rooted in our love for the Amazon, its incredible ingredients, and the belief that skincare could create impact beyond the products themselves.
One of those full-circle moments was seeing AmaSKN at The Village Market inside the Google Visitor Experience in California.
Seeing something we created from scratch there was pretty surreal.

A Face the Future survey found that 61% of respondents kept at least some skincare in the bathroom.
It’s convenient. But repeated heat, moisture exposure and direct sunlight can affect products over time, including changes in texture, color and smell.
If your bathroom gets hot and steamy, try a cool, dry drawer outside it. Keep containers closed, avoid sunny windowsills, and always follow the product’s storage instructions.
One shower doesn’t ruin your skincare. But where it lives matters.

This is the kind of update that means so much to us.
Over the past year, AmaSKN has sent over 370 skincare sets to Kits to Heart, an organization that creates care packages for people going through cancer treatment.
Seeing our products inside the actual care packages and reading the note from someone who received one made it feel very real.
Sonia built something special from her own experience, and you can feel that in these kits.
