Now that we understand what a cough is, let’s talk about what we can do.
The goal is to help the body eliminate the waste. Open the bowels, encourage sweating with a bath or foot soak, drink herbal teas, stay well hydrated, eat simple nourishing foods like broth or cooked pears, use clapping and hot and cold over the chest, and if needed, use poultices over the feet.
Remember, don’t fear the cough. Support the body, and help it do the job it was designed to do. Join the classes, stay tuned for more. Share , you might save someone.

A cough isn’t the problem it’s the body’s cleanup process. After the body fights an invader, it collects the waste into mucus. The cough is simply the body’s way of getting that mucus out.
A healthy body removes this waste quickly because the bowels are moving, the skin can sweat, the kidneys can eliminate through urine, and circulation is flowing well. But when the body is stagnant, the mucus can linger, making the cough last longer.
The goal isn’t just to silence the cough. The goal is to support the body’s natural elimination so it can finish the job.
Stay tuned for more

As a parent, one of your most important responsibilities is to ask your child every single day about their bowel movements.
Did you go today?
Was it easy?
Did anything hurt?
Did you have to strain?
These simple questions teach children to connect with their own bodies. They learn that paying attention to their health is normal—not embarrassing.
Sadly, we’re raising a generation where constipation has become common. Many people eat three meals a day yet only have one bowel movement every few days, or even just once a week.
Start these conversations early. Make them a normal part of family life. Help your children understand their bodies, encourage healthy daily habits, and don’t forget one of the greatest teachers of all—nature.
Take them outside. Let them run barefoot when it’s safe, climb, explore, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with the natural world. Healthy children are raised not only with good food, but with awareness, movement, and a connection to nature.

When it comes to digestive problems, doctors offer the tools they were trained to use. In natural healing, we have many more ways to support the body. We can restore the microbiome, nourish with soothing herbs, use massage, reflexology, warmth, gentle movement, and many other simple techniques that help support the body’s natural healing process. My goal is to give parents more knowledge, more confidence, and more options so they don’t feel that medication is their only choice. Every parent should know this information! This is the way we can together create a healthy generation and reverse diseases!

Pediatricians are wonderful in emergencies. They can identify serious problems and save lives. But when it comes to many common childhood issues such as eczema, recurring ear infections, digestive problems, or building long-term health, many parents discover that they need additional knowledge and practical skills at home. Every mother should learn how to support her child naturally and confidently.

Most people think catnip is only for cats, but catnip is actually one of the gentlest herbs a mother can keep at home.
For generations, catnip has been used to help calm and soothe children, especially during teething and periods of restlessness. It is a gentle herb that helps relax the body and quiet the mind.
Catnip is also valued for its calming properties. It may help support relaxation, restful sleep, and comfort during times of tension or occasional discomfort.
And of course, our cats seem to know exactly how special this plant is. They are naturally drawn to it, reminding us that nature often provides simple gifts for both animals and people.
Sometimes the most valuable herbs are the ones growing quietly in our gardens, waiting for us to learn their wisdom.
Perhaps every mother should know about this beautiful herb and keep it close at hand.
