Have you heard of “body doubling”?

I came across this article about “body doubling” and thought it was such an interesting idea!

Basically, it’s the idea that having someone else nearby while you tackle a task can make it easier to get started, stay focused, and actually finish, even if that person isn’t helping with the task itself.

It got me thinking about how often this comes up with organizing. Sometimes we know exactly what needs to be done… we just need someone there to help us get moving.

Breast cancer awareness month is right around the corner. There is no other way to say it. Cancer sucks. Every year we donate cemo care packages to local cancer centers, but this year it hits a little different. I am collecting and donating in my Aunt Becky’s honor.
