Today >> Inductions .. so sick of women being told to fear the life out of them .. sure, they aren’t natural & in a perfect world we all go into spont labour and pop a baby out zero stitches and pain. But ahhhhh reality right. A lot do but a lot don’t. I had 3 inductions .. not for fun because I had too. And I loved them and had a wonderful experience which I hope you did too.. 👶🏼The DUMMY >> don’t hate me but I LOVE the dummy ❤️‍🔥 🍭If you are going to give a dummy - I say don’t get rid of it until 3 … before that they have no understanding of why the dummy has now gone.. some do but most don’t… this doesn’t mean you have to give it to them all day long - it’s a good sleep association. 🍭Baby can’t self replace until around 8 months of age - the more you practice them grasping the dummy during awake time the quicker they master the skill of replacing it themselves. 🍭Using the dummy can be associated with a reduced risk of sudden infant death when used consistently. 🍭They are a great settling tool for babies, especially those with colic / reflux issues. 🍭Consult your dentist if you have any dummy dental concerns 🍭The earlier you introduce the greater success you will have with your baby taking it. Hint - I pack mine in my hospital bag 🤰🏼
