Botánica started out of a personal need for a simple, yet effective skincare routine and a passion for natural ingredients. When developing the brand, founder Rush Huyke went back to her Hispanic roots and referenced the latin Botánica holistic shops where people go seeking spiritual artifacts, healing as well as herbs, natural medicines, ointments, plants, etc. She grew up learning to always take
the natural approach first and appreciating the power of botanicals. Her main goal was to take these principles and apply them to skincare. At Botánica, we believe in creating clean, natural, luxurious products that will nourish the skin, give you a healthy glow and become part of your everyday self-care routine. Everything is carefully thought-of and put through a testing and modification process until we have a final product that we absolutely love and believe in. Full of: Non-GMO and when possible, organic cold-pressed oils that are rich in antioxidants and powerful nutrients. Free of: All the bad stuff including parabens, phthalates, polysorbates, silicones, sulfates, artificial colorants, and synthetic fragrances. Our supply chain is entirely cruelty-free and we choose suppliers that, at no stage of the sourcing process use testing on animals. None of our ingredients are from animal-derived products and we consider our formulas safe for vegans. Botánica products are shipped using biodegradable peanuts that can be dissolved in water. All of our mailers and packaging material are made from sustainable sources.
