Okay, I need to talk about this month's Benefit Cosmetics US box because I'm actually impressed.
They packed in the new POREfessional Concealer and it's not messing around, full coverage but somehow still looks like skin? Not cakey, not heavy, just... blurred and even. They call it "the total package" and honestly, fair.
A few things that actually matter to me:
✨ Waterproof + sweatproof + smudge-proof (basically survives everything)
✨ Non-comedogenic, so it's not going to wreck my skin
✨ 35 shades — that's a real shade range, not just lip service
Paired with the POREfessional Primer Mini underneath, my makeup actually stayed put and my pores looked... blurred? In a good way. Not something I usually say about a primer.

Sunset Hour Dark Peach GOLDFIELD & BANKS AUSTRALIA
I already loved the original Sunset Hour, but this one hits completely different. If the original is your golden-hour beach day, Dark Peach is that last warm evening in late August when you can feel autumn creeping in. The sky's gone deeper, the air's got an edge to it, and everything just feels a little more intense. This scent is juicy, dark, boozy, and addictive.
Where the original leans more feminine and Spring/Summer, Dark Peach is fully unisex and made for cooler weather. Fall and Winter's answer to that sunset energy. Sexier, moodier, a little more mysterious.

Learning about the thought behind that distinction — honoring where it came from while still letting it evolve — was honestly kind of emotional.

Welton X Chris Collins TALISMAN by . A collaboration between John-Paul Welton and Chris Collins, this one is special. A unisex citrus parfum unlike anything else on my shelf right now.
Top: Sweet Orange, Bergamot, Ginger
Heart: Pink Pepper, Elemi Resin, White Tea, Jasmine, Pepper
Base: Incense, Juniper, Papyrus
Bright and zesty up top, warm and resinous underneath, it's the kind of scent that keeps unfolding on skin. Truly unique.

Second time at La Grande Boucherie and it never disappoints a real treat every single time.
What's great about Boucherie is that the menu is the same across all their NYC locations, so you know exactly what you're getting no matter which one you walk into... and what you're getting is so good.
This visit we had:
🥂 La Vie en Rose — Absolut, Lillet Blanc, lychee, cranberry purée, brut sparkling. Light, floral, dangerously easy to drink.
🥃 Vieux Carré (Barrel-Aged) — Basil Hayden's rye, Rémy Martin 1738, red vermouth, Bénédictine. Rich and boozy in the best way.
🐙 Grilled Octopus — fingerling potato, romesco, heirloom cherry tomato, lime. Perfectly charred.
🐌 Les Escargots — snails, shallots, lemon, parsley, garlic butter. A classic done right.
🥩 Filet Mignon Au Poivre — pepper-crusted beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, green peppercorn cream sauce. Melt-in-your-mouth.
🥩 Entrecôte Grillée — 12oz grass-fed ribeye. Simple, no-frills, exactly what a steak should be.
🥃 Boucherie Old Fashioned — Wild Turkey, Altos Añejo, lavender, plum. A house favorite for a reason.
🍹 Phoenix — Del Maguey Pueblo mezcal, Empirical Ayuuk, grapefruit, lime, soda. Smoky and refreshing.
🍰 Paris-Brest — the classic French pastry, done beautifully.
🍰 Basque Cheesecake — creamy, caramelized, and the perfect way to end the meal.
I recommend every single thing we ordered. And a huge shoutout to our waiter Gaudi, who gave us excellent service from start to finish.

Oud for Grace by INITIO Parfums Privés caught me off guard. 🖤✨
Part of The Black Gold Project that gold eye on black glass alone stops people in their tracks. It opens with bergamot and black pepper, softens into a praline-vanilla heart, then settles into a smoldering base of sandalwood, cedarwood, guaiacwood, and oud that lingers for hours. Truly unisex, beautifully balanced, and made for colder weather, this is the one you layer under a coat on a crisp night and let it do the talking.

Okay this box lived up to the hype 🍓
Pixi's new LiquidGlow Fluid Cheek Tints six shades, one weightless formula, and genuinely no wrong way to wear them. I've been doing the lightest sheer layer on my cheeks in the morning and going heavier with a second layer for evening, same tube, totally different look.
Favorite so far is a toss-up between the coral and the rose because the tube colors don't tell the full story once they're blended in.
Would love to hear which shade you'd reach for first

I've been living in Pixi by Petra's GradualGlow Self-Tan Serum + On-the-Glow SHIELD SPF 50 the self-tan builds up so gradually there's zero streak panic, and the SPF stick actually fits in my bag instead of taking it over. Pilates → errands → beach, it just comes with me.
