At the Switch Vision Innovation Summit by EssilorLuxottica, I shared how surprised I was to learn this happens to basically everyone after 40. Yes, get the eye exam... and of course amazing frames, but it’s what you can’t see that’s most important.

Few things in life evoke the bittersweet beauty of being deeply proud and heartbroken all at once. Watching you ✨make space✨for this next chapter, , fills me with endless inspiration and joy to know all who have been ‘seen’ by you and for all you’ve accomplished and will continue to. Yet, my heart feels a profound sadness knowing this era is closing. For two decades, I’ve been lucky enough to call you a friend, and I’ll forever cherish how you have impacted my life personally and professionally. Here’s to the next adventure — pjs, play dates, endless possibilities, and the magic of your huge heart.
The professional moments I’m most proud of are ones in which I’m able to connect and “see” others. I don’t know if you all realize how you “seeing” me has helped me do what I love. Because of you, what started as an organic conversation with a stranger who just happened to be a female executive at Essilor(about my giant font size 😂 and headaches) turned into an amazing partnership. With my new progressive , I can continue to see you all (yes, near and far) and spread a message that I obviously needed to hear myself.
