Hey there! I’m Eileen — the girl behind The Happy Hatch Co. 🌿

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself, and I have quite a few new followers so I thought I’d share a few things about me!

I love Jesus, my family, and I will never say no to an iced coffee!

I adore chickens, there’s just something about watching my girls wander around the yard that makes my life better.

I think a basket full of beautifully colored farm-fresh eggs is basically a work of art.

🌿 I love simple, natural ingredients and creating products that I feel good about using in my own home and sharing with yours.

Making soaps, tallow products, sugar scrubs and all the other Happy Hatch goodies is my creative outlet. Everything is handmade by me in small batches, with lots of love.

💍 I’ve been married to my best friend, Cody, for almost 25 years, and together we have three amazing kids.

My newest (and maybe favorite 🥰) title is GiGi! Our sweet Banks made me a Grandma this year, and I am completely smitten.

What started as something I loved doing has turned into this little business that means so much to me. Every order, share, comment, recommendation and person who follows along supports a real person making things right from her home.

Tiny chickens with BIG personalities! 🧡💛🤍

Bantam Cochins are one of my favorites—their round, fluffy little bodies, feathered feet, and sweet personalities make them hard not to love.

These little fluff balls are true bantams and stay SMALL! Adults are usually only around 1½–2 pounds, with hens typically around 1½ pounds and roosters closer to 2 pounds. Even with all those feathers making them look bigger, they’re just a fraction of the size of a standard Cochin!

They’re generally friendly, docile, and make such fun little additions to a backyard flock. And seriously… those fluffy feet! 😍

Small chicken. LOTS of fluff. Tons of personality. 🐣

These beauties have already been curing for 5 weeks, so they’re ready to go!
