Tomorrow the challenge was supposed to start…
…but apparently my legs didn’t get the memo 😄🏃♀️🔥
Went out for a “nice easy” 10–11 km…
and somehow couldn’t stop until 21.1 km 🤷♀️
No plan. No pressure.
And still… faster than before ⏱️✨
So yeah — we’re not waiting for tomorrow.
The challenge starts TODAY. 🚀
One half marathon per week? Let’s go.
Proof once again:

It was 4°C… but felt like 1°C 🥶
I stared at the weather app like it personally betrayed me. Almost cried. Not even dramatic.
But… I went out anyway. Because showing up is the whole game 🎯
My left calf 🤝 my right knee decided to file a formal complaint
“Ma’am, this is unacceptable.”
It took them a solid 4 km to stop whining 🦴😂
Today was less “graceful runner” and more
run / walk / negotiate with body / repeat 😅
But hey…
6.5 km DONE 🏃♀️🔥
Mind over body ✔️
Great playlist saving lives 🎧✨
Maximum drama in the Flanders fields 🎭
Not pretty. Not easy. But consistent.

Training for my Marathon of Half Marathons 2026 continues… April is basically knocking 🚪🔥
Today I was waiting for the sun ☀️… it was cold 🥶
Got tired of waiting, so I went out anyway.
And guess what?
After 2 km… the sun finally showed up 😄
Sometimes you don’t wait for the moment —
you lead it. Even the sun needs a little motivation apparently 😉
8.4 km done 🏃♀️
Average pace, strong mindset 💪🧠

On International Women’s Day I decided my slightly rusty bones and I would attempt something bold: a half marathon… after restarting training only 10 days ago.
Last time I ran one was October 2025, so confidence level? Let’s say… optimistically nervous. 😅
But guess what… 21.1 km DONE.
Slow pace, steady legs, full respect for injury prevention and these vintage joints.
Today was a classic mind over body situation. The body complained, the mind negotiated, and somehow the legs kept moving.

Training for my Marathon of Half Marathons 2026 is officially underway.
It may not be fast, it may not be pretty… but I’ll keep showing up.
And apparently these old bones still have a few long runs left in them. 🏃♀️✨

This morning my body voted strongly for “stay in bed.”
Unfortunately for my old bones, the calendar voted run day. 🦴🏃♀️
At 2.2 km I was ready to turn around. Legs heavy. Enjoyment level: somewhere between zero and “why do I do this to myself?”
But like so many things in life, the moment you want to quit is often right before the breakthrough. So I pushed a little further… and suddenly the engine woke up.
8 km done.
And somehow… 8 seconds faster than the last run.
Lesson of the day:
Consistency beats mood. Persistence beats rusty joints. And apparently these vintage bones still have a few kilometers left in them. 😄
As I continue to train for my marathon of half marathons!
