I don’t even know how to put this into words. 😞
I’m still actively grieving my granny, and now, OUT OF NOWHERE I’m grieving again. 😢
As some of you know, My son’s father suddenly passed away, and I’m trying to navigate my own heartbreak while helping my son navigate losing his dad, a huge figure in his life, in our lives.
And somehow… life is still moving.
The appointments are still there.
The business still needs me.
My family still needs me.
And I’m realizing I’m not my best self right now. This part has very much took me by surprise.
I’m more emotional. More on edge. More overwhelmed than I care to admit. Some days I’m struggling to be present, even with the people I love most.
I’m trying to give myself grace while asking the same from the people around me.
I’m grateful to have built a business that still thrives…
To my clients and community who held me down through the loss of my grandmother: thank you. I haven’t forgotten the love, check-ins and patience you’ve already given me. 🤍
And if I’ve been quieter, slower to respond, less consistent, or just… not myself, please know I’m doing the best I can.
I’m grieving and still a business owner, trying to ensure my business can survive a season of humanity. Because, I am in fact very human.
I also know, I’m not alone in this, I talk to so many of us who are navigating grief & business
So if you’re grieving while building too, I hope you give yourself permission to be a person before you are a brand.

When I set out to do these FREE content days, it was because I truly understood the mental toll it can take on you having to get in front of the camera. But I learned that when I do it with my girls, we can have a TIME!!
