Sunflower D visited our Pensacola, Florida home location for a braid-in installation using a set she personally provided. 🥰✨

🌻 Braid-In Installations can last 6–12 weeks!

If you’re new to braid-ins, keep in mind that your first install can be an adjustment period. 🙈🤗 Depending on the person, a first install typically lasts around 4–6 weeks.

If you’re new to locs and starting with a braid-in set, I always recommend giving yourself at least 2 full weeks to adjust before deciding whether you want to continue or stop. 🫶🏻

✨ A little reminder about shedding:
Your natural hair will continue to shed while it’s inside the braid. Because of this, it’s completely normal for your hair to feel thinner after removing the set.

Your hair did NOT suddenly become thinner! 🤗

You’ve simply become accustomed to the added volume and thickness of your installed locs, so your natural hair may feel different when they’re removed.

With consistency, it can take several installations and some time to truly notice and experience the benefits of this protective style. 🌟💕

We created a custom braid in set using copper, deep curl synthetic blend hair to beatifully blend with her natural hair while adding extra texture and dimension! ✨️

We’re getting closer to East Coast Tour time, and this year we’re doing things a little differently! 👀

Our tour dates are currently looking to be September 2nd through November 3rd — an 8–9 week dual tour through both the Eastern United States AND Central United States! 🚐🌻

I know a lot of you LOVE the luxury of having me come directly to you—and that option isn’t going anywhere! 💛 I’ll still be offering direct-to-you appointments throughout the entire tour for those who want the convenience of having me travel directly to them.

BUT… I also know that traveling directly to a client isn’t everyone’s preference, so I had an idea! 👀

What if I created central Sunflower Meetup locations throughout the tour where multiple clients could come to me for their appointments?

This would give you another option that could potentially come with a smaller booking deposit than a private, direct-to-you appointment, while still allowing me to cover the travel, hotel, and other costs that come with taking the Sunflower Loc’s experience on the road. 🌻🚐

This could be perfect for those who:
✨ Prefer traveling to a set location
✨ Want a more affordable travel option
✨ Want to make a little trip out of their appointment
✨ Would love to meet other Sunflowers along the way
✨ Don’t necessarily need me to travel directly to their home
