Copper is one of those finishes people overlook when they're picking hardware, and I really think it deserves more love. It’s a living finish that only gets better as it ages. We used it on the sink and faucet, the cabinet pulls, and even the pot filler in this kitchen.

The window over the sink has so much potential to be one of the best spots in the kitchen. A shorter cafe curtain lets the light in without losing privacy, and a little shelf gives you room for plants (fresh herbs!) or fruit you actually want on hand. This one turned out even better than I pictured.

This kind of feedback means more to me than people probably realize. Helping someone feel less stuck and more excited about their space is exactly what I hope to do every time. Thank you for trusting me with yours.

I really didn't want this dining area to feel like a catalog page, and I don't think it does. The color, textures, and plants give it so much life, but it doesn't cross into overwhelming. It feels calm enough to sit in every single day. That's the sweet spot I'm always trying to hit.

When we found this odd corner in the basement plan, we knew it needed something a little different than the usual approach. So we made it a spot just for the kids, made for scrambling, hiding, drawing, and the occasional nap. It's turned into their favorite place in the house. Not every corner needs a formal answer, sometimes it just needs some imagination.

I know throw pillows can feel like a small detail in the grand scheme of a design plan, but they carry more weight than people expect. They're an easy way to bring in pattern or color without committing to something bigger. Look at how much life these add to this space. It's proof that the little things really do matter.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that bring a space to life. The antiqued mirror, countertop, and faucet each play a part in making this home bar feel polished, inviting, and a little unexpected. We finished the shelves with a collection of vintage finds (including that beautiful leather ice bucket)!
