For the last 6 months my knees have been giving me a run for my money. Todayās goal was simple⦠Just get on the bike and make it to 3 miles. Thatās it.
So I slipped on my compression knee sleeves, prayed, encouraged myself, and started pedaling.

Hey hey hey! Morning yāall wake up! No really wake up...
Need a lil encouragement this Wednesday morning (I actually forgot what day it is š)? 2 Timothy 1:7 say it out loud as a declaration (like real loudāI say it in front of a mirror). Now, write out the areas that you have tried to work out in your own strength. Say a prayer (maybe even write it down too) releasing each of those things to God.

š”š© while Iām thankful for my gym membership when I need to change my life I mean training routine around I canāt stand the people that donāt know gym etiquette!!!! If Iām doing KB pushups one donāt come ask me in the middle of my set can you have one while Iām literally in the movement and two donāt stand over or around some. NOPE! NOT nice with my response!!!
And I am done taking care of my physical and my mental⦠what you got this morning?

Happy Saturday! āļø
This morning didnāt go exactly as planned.
I rose with prayer, took my supplements, prepared for my Peloton rideānot once, but twiceāand my knee simply wasnāt having it. UGH!
But hereās the lesson: modification is not defeat.
Instead of giving up, I adjusted the plan.
⨠Devotion, meditation, and journaling
⨠A written plan for the day
⨠A nourishing breakfast of organic pasture-raised eggs, spinach, tomatoes, and uncured low-sodium bacon
⨠A commitment to keep movingāwhether thatās the treadmill, light rowing, or another knee-friendly option
As a coach, I often remind people that no matter how many tools you useāGLP-1s, weight-loss surgery, Weight Watchers, fasting, or the latest trendānone of them replace consistency.
The real transformation happens when you continue showing up, especially when things donāt go according to plan.
Today, Iām choosing progress over perfection and consistency over excuses.
That reflection led me back to a poem I recently wrote:
A Book of TestimoniesāMY LIFE
I am a living testimony,
A daughter of grace,
A woman of faith,
A survivor who learned
That brokenness is not the end of the story.
Sixty-one years around the sun.
Thirty-nine years of his service and me.
Thirty-five years of covenant.
Pages filled with tears,
Pages filled with triumph,
Pages marked by loss,
Love,
Learning,
And Godās unwavering hand.
My scars became wisdom.
My pain became purpose.
My story became a testimony.
And with every chapter,
I declare: Look what the Lord has done.
āTo God be the glory, great things He has done.ā
Friends, your testimony is still being written. Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Keep trusting the process. One day youāll look back and realize that every chapterāeven the difficult onesāhad purpose.

As we close out Mental Health Awareness Month, may we choose joy, extend grace, and protect our peace.
Life teaches us that growth is not only about holding onāit is also about knowing when to let go, trusting God with every season, and caring for our hearts along the way.
Today, celebrate the gift of another day. Celebrate healing. Celebrate progress. Celebrate the people who bring light to your life. And most importantly, celebrate the joy that comes from knowing God is still writing your story.
