Happy Friday-YAY!!!👻

So today was quite the adventure. I had a client who showed up, but wanted to cancel her hours long appointment because she spilled something in her purse. I explained that it was an inconvenience she started screaming to talk to my manager. Next thing I knew, I was passed out in an ambulance. After dealing with two people touching me in the past month, now this, I had a panic attack for the first time in my life! I’m going to say it one time… if you think it is ok to treat people like this, it is not!!!!!!! I do hair for living to make folks feel good! If you think it is ok to raised your voice or lay lands on me, I will file a repost and walk away!!!! Thank you for everyone who has supported me and especially helped me today !!!! I am at home and resting and collecting my thoughts. My MS is flaring, so I can’t walk much texting is not easy…I will be returning to the salon on Friday. I am so sorry if your appointment had to be rescheduled ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not my favorite day… today is brain MRI day… it’s that day that I CAN NOT pretend like I don’t have chronic disease. S**t gets real when you are in an MRI tube for an hour, being held in a halo that is screwed down and I can not move but am dealing with a migraine or muscle spasms and body parts trying to throw themselves. Party time. I usually begin crying, as I realize it is the one thing in my life that I can not “improve”. Then I get in trouble because the MRI tech sees the movement on their screen. I quickly think of something to make me smile or laugh… we all know that is music. I think about a rubber band banjo and funky band playing all the ridiculous noises that the MRI machine is making. This crazy brain of mine! No wonder they want images of it! Either way, I have been blessed to live the last 15 years of my life with MS and still get to do me!!! Most of the things I want to do, some I never knew I could do, and hey, I can’t run or go hiking, but let’s be honest, that was never for me! Let’s hope when I get my results there is no progression, I need everyone to say a prayer for me! I have a million more concerts I want to go to, more sports cars to buy, more puppies to adopt, more folks to assist on their beauty journey, more awards to win, hairfriends to mentor, more chapters to write in my book (if you know, you know!)

This was because of all of my dedicated clients, coworkers, family and friends supporting my business and helping me live the dream!!! Thank you!!!!
