I’ve had a lot of one on one conversations lately with stylists who feel this underlying sense of guilt around their business.

Like they are doing something wrong because it’s not their full time income, or they aren’t taking 40-50 weddings a year, or trying to grow it enough to quit their day job, or they’re not showing up online the way they think they “should.”

A part time business is not a lesser business.

Choosing to keep this as something that supports your life instead of consuming it is not a lack of ambition.

There is so much noise in this industry about growing, scaling, six figure is more bookings, more visibility, but not nearly enough conversation around if it actually feels goods.

You are allowed to want flexibility, balance, and something that compliments your life without taking over.
