Sorry for the late post! It's been crazy with not having power since Wednesday night and these constant storms D: my brain is a little scattered. Hopefully everyone is having better luck then me!

Here is my schedule for the 7th-12th! I am closed labor day but will be back open Wednesday! On Saturday I am closing early to go to my nephews nesting party(like a baby shower, but more helpful to parents)

Time for a long sappy post today;

For those who don't know me, Hi, my name is Dani. I have been cutting hair for 11 years and today marks 2 YEARS of opening my own business, Wicked Stylez. It's a simple room I rent, but everything inside is mine and I run it how I want. I am so happy and thankful I jumped on this opportunity and had many people at my back to help support me.

Now, it's true when people say running your own business is difficult. At the start I thought it was bologna, it's not. Oh believe me, I have MANY great days there! But once in awhile, I don't have as great of a day, and sometimes those can weigh on the mind the hardness. I will be honest; their was times I thought of packing up and leaving and seeing if I should get a normal desk job or something that was more stable. But for some reason, I can't imagine myself doing anything else but this. Because this job can be SO REWARDING on those fantastic days.

11 years might not seem long for most, but I have watched so many lives change from the clients that come see me :) I have seen children clients grow, going to middleschool, then to highschool and then to COLLEGE! It's funny where there is times I'll look at them and say "you grew 5 inches the last time I saw you!" or "your voice changed!" Or "your driving now?!?" Etc. I have heard stories of clients getting new jobs, seeing new opportunities and hobbies, their travels and adventures, them meeting the love of their life and hearing of them getting married! And then not long after, I soon have their child in my chair getting their first haircut.

I think of these moments, of these clients I witness every visit, and it helps me move on. Helps me say "I can do this, I can keep going" because being the one to help you feel confident with your hairstyle is a reward in itself and makes me feel I helped you in your journey along the way.

Now if you have read this far, thank you for taking the moment to witness my sappy thoughts. I want you all to know I'm so thankful to each of you giving me a chance every visit and to help me keep going on this dream and this journey of mine.
