Marina Safina is a Portland-area art-couture fashion designer and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends fashion, sculpture, and theatrical storytelling. She creates handcrafted, one-of-a-kind garments, oversized floral forms, and dramatic wearable art with an emphasis on movement, texture, transformation, and visual impact.

Inspired by resilience, rebirth, nature, and personal growth, Marina uses fashion to tell immersive stories and transform the runway into an artistic experience. Her work has been presented at fashion events across the United States and continues to attract attention for its bold silhouettes, intricate handwork, and distinctive artistic vision.

Shalom Aburu is a Ugandan couture designer and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends contemporary fashion with the bold visual traditions of African textiles.
