We approve this message 👏🏽
“I only speak for my tribe - Hair & Beauty Professionals - that it doesn’t feel great to be made to feel “less than” someone who went a more traditional direction in their Academic careers. I know a lot of highly-paid, successful & entrepreneurial stylists as well as a lot of out of work, unhappy MBAs.
The moral of the story - celebrate someone’s career choice and encourage them, don’t judge them. There’s room for everyone to be happy and successful, whatever their journey.”
