This morning I got to meet with a homeschool student who is passionate about birth and interested in learning more about the birth world. 🤍

I love seeing young women already exploring what they’re passionate about. I’m so excited to possibly mentor her and give her a little peek into the world of birth work! ✨

After a whole month off from being on call, I’m officially back! 🤍

The break was SO nice and so needed after a very busy July and August filled with lots of sweet babies and family time. But today we’re kicking off another busy season with a beautiful baby boy! 💙

Here’s to all the sweet new babies I’ll be meeting over the next few weeks. I can’t wait! 🥰👶🏼

I met with Stephanie this morning and we talked about all things doulas, kids, postpartum, and life in general. 🩷

She’s launching a laundry service right here in Rockford & Cannon Township, specifically to help new moms during those busy postpartum months!

She’ll pick up your laundry, wash, dry, fold, and bring it right back to your door. 🧺🙌🏼

I think this is such an awesome resource for moms who are in the trenches and could use one less thing on their plate. And it would make such a great postpartum or baby shower gift!

💙 Help me support my lifelong friend and her amazing son, Ambrose! 💙

I’m sharing something very close to my heart today. My very close friend is running a 10-mile race for her almost-4-year-old son, Ambrose, who has congenital CMV, which has significantly impacted his life through disability and medical complexity.

But Ambrose is so much more than his disabilities. He is incredibly smiley, social, full of love and light, and has the most amazing ability to find joy in life. He absolutely LOVES his people and brings so much happiness to everyone around him. 💙

And his mama? She is incredible. I’ve watched her advocate for him, celebrate every milestone, navigate the hard days, and pour absolutely everything she has into giving Ambrose the happiest and fullest life possible. I couldn’t be prouder to call her my friend.

As a mom and someone whose work is centered around supporting families, this cause means so much to me. Her race is raising money for the National CMV Foundation to support families impacted by CMV and bring awareness to a condition that deserves so much more attention.

We didn’t quite expect the rain this morning, so we pivoted! ☔️☕️ Instead of our walk, we enjoyed a little coffee + play date together. Sometimes the best plans are the ones we make on the fly! 🤎

📣 BIG VILLAGE WALK ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣

Starting August 26, Village Walks are moving from Tuesdays to Wednesdays at 9:30 AM! ☕️👟

We’ve had SO much success with these walks and I absolutely love the connection we’ve created. Tuesdays no longer work for me, but I want to keep this going on Wednesdays! 🤍

I know school starting back up means life gets BUSY, but let’s make time for ourselves! Come walk, grab a coffee, and connect with other mamas. 🫶🏼
