Lately, I’ve been paying a little more attention to the water I drink. 💧

And before anybody says it I’m not here to spread fear or repeat something just because I saw it online. I’m learning too.

The truth is, tap water in the U.S. is treated and regulated, but filtered water isn’t automatically “healthier,” and bottled water isn’t automatically better either. It really depends on what’s in the water and what the filter is designed to remove.

A good, properly maintained filter can reduce certain contaminants, but no filter removes everything. That’s why I think it’s important to know what’s actually in your local water and choose a filter based on that information.

So for me, filling up my 5-gallon jug with filtered water is simply one more thing I can do.

I may not be able to control everything, but I can control what I choose to do with the information I have.
Do your own research. Check your local water-quality report. Ask questions. And make the decision that’s right for you and your household.
The more we can do to take care of ourselves, the better. 💧

You can start over no matter where you are. 💪🏽✨
It may be a little harder than you imagined, but it’s doable.

This year didn’t go the way I planned. I had A LOT going on, and honestly, I feel like I missed my summer body because I didn’t utilize the winter to get my summer body ready . 😩😂
But I’m not going to beat myself up about it.

I’m going to start where I am, give myself grace, put in the work, and pray that next year looks different. 🙏🏽

No matter what I’m going through right now, I know one thing for sure… in the end, it’s all going to work out for my good. 🙏🏽✨
This season may not look like what I expected. Some days are harder than others, and sometimes I can’t see how everything is going to come together. But I’m learning to trust the process.
This season is preparing me for my next season. And my next season is preparing me for the season after that.
Every lesson.
Every loss.
Every delay.
Every disappointment.
Every breakthrough.
Every door that closed and every door that opened…
IT ALL ADDS UP. ❤️
I may not understand every part of the journey right now, but I believe there is a bigger picture.
My current season is not my final season. Each season is adding up to the final season God has prepared for me. 🙌🏽
So I’m going to keep showing up, keep believing, keep moving forward, and trust that when I look back, I’ll understand why I had to go through it all.
It’s all working together for my good. 💕✨
