Today is Friday. Take a moment to do something nice for someone who is often the last person you think about: yourself.

Give yourself a hug. Give yourself grace. Give yourself credit for all the battles you’ve fought, the obstacles you’ve overcome, and the strength you’ve shown when no one was watching.

You spend so much time caring for others, encouraging others, and helping others that sometimes you forget that you deserve that same kindness too.

Be patient with yourself. Be proud of yourself. And remember, you are worthy of the same love and compassion that you freely give to everyone else. ❤️🙏✨

when others count me out, i respond by studying, working, and staying alert instead of arguing.

Everything will be okay. That’s all I would tell that little girl who thought life was over, who believed she had no future, who cried alone in her room and fell asleep not knowing how she was going to make it.

Now look at her—all grown up, preparing boxes to ship to her clients in another country. It’s mind-blowing what you can achieve when you decide to put your trust in Jesus instead of your own understanding.
