Had a wonderful race today running 15K with friends. I’ve been dealing with some knee pain and resting. My plan was to do the 30K but I changed it to 15K to see how I feel and to do another 8-9 miles tomorrow. Sometimes we have to take a step back to move forward and ensure success without injury. It’s disappointing but can be one of the best things we do for our long-term goals. What are you focused on and maybe holding onto that you could perhaps step back to set yourself up for better success? Comment below or reach out if you want to work with a on your journey of a and

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💌💗💘💕💞How are you spending your day? What did you do to show yourself love and caring for your well-being? I completed a self love and care with a sunny, with lingering snow, dog walk outside! 🐶 ❄️ ☀️ 🏃🏻♀️ I’m still on track with my goals but babying my knee so there’s no injuries or long-term effects.

Progression isn’t always a straight line forward, upwards or how we envision but can include measurements we weren’t envisioning. I’ve rested this week to let me knee heel and been successfully stretching and completing yoga. I know yoga has been helping me and have always fought it in the past. I have a hard time moving and am challenged with flexibility and mobility. Now I can see where I’m weakest and where yoga is building strength to give me long-term success with my running goals. We have to push outside our comfort levels to grow and modify and adapt to succeed. .burn

Worked on a speed run on Friday and seeing improvements. Today we ran a 🥶 30° 7 mile run while timing a 5K (last photo). Then did a 2 mi neighborhood walk. Time wasn’t bad considering we had a lot of 🐶 breaks not always timed within our intervals. 🤣 He was rewarded with a puppicino because he kicked butt today!! I’m pleased with the progression of improvements and recovery success. Progress isn’t always visible so it’s important to look at other achievements and measurements. What are you seeing for yourself as success within your 2023 aspirations? How are you measuring those successes? What help do you need to accomplish them?

Completed the Didn’t want to and needed to, ready to give up after the first set and felt amazing after the third set. Sometimes we just need to power through and get to the other side to feel the amazing difference! I was happy to stay with my plans to do a 5K dog run and felt amazingly better. It is amazing when we want to quit or not do something but we push through it how much it can change how we think and feel. How have you stayed committed to your plans and felt better because of it? No Greta! Commit to yourself and challenge yourself to start and see when you stop! You may surprise yourself with how great you feel once you start. 😃💗

Today I completed a run to work on some pacing because dog walks aren’t helping that! 😂 I have my very first marathon in May and lots of focused training to do. Working on distance, speed, strength and mobility. I then completed a total body yoga workout. This includes one that I committed to completing 100 miles for January. How are you doing with your aspirations and intentions? Want a to help you then contact me so we can begin!

Time for reflection and growth upon our current position from 2022 to 2023. How did you take 2021’s experiences to position you into 2022 with new or different aspirations? How did you feel about your accomplishments and learning opportunities? How will you take 2022’s learning opportunities and the stepping stones for growth and achievements into 2023? We tend to let road blocks or lack of success - partial or completely - define success or failure. It really is about progress and learning from our experiences to build upon our successes and opportunities.
